First burn: always make sure that the wax melt pool reaches the edges of the jar. This should take 2 hours+ and will prevent tunnelling.
Always trim the wick to c. 5mm before burning again. This prevents debris in the candle, 'mushrooming' wicks and a potential fire hazard.
Do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time.
Never burn a candle right to the end - discontinue use when you have c. 2cm of wax left.
Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep it on a heat-safe, flat surface away from children, pets, curtains and flammable materials.

Please email us at enquiries@deeringwhyte.com if you are not happy with your purchase, for whatever reason, within 14 days of receiving your order for a refund or exchange, minus shipping costs.
You must post the unused product in its original condition back to us within 28 days from receiving your order, and within 14 days from requesting your refund.
Refunds will be issued within 14 days of us receiving your product, or sooner if proof of postage has been supplied.
If you would like to choose an exchange, we will post out an alternative replacement product and the postage fees are on us.
Alternatively, when applicable, we will refund back to the card or payment method you paid with. Refunds can take up to 3-5 working days to appear in your account.
