Taking care of your candle will extend its burn-life, improve scent throw and prevent potential hazards.

  • First Burn

Make sure that your candle is lit for long enough for the wax melt pool to reach the edges of the jar. This should take 2 hours+ and will prevent tunnelling; extending your overall burn time. All future burns should also follow this rule.

  • Wick-Trimming

Always trim the wick back to c. 3mm before burning again. This prevents potential fire hazards, such as debris dropping into the candle, 'mushrooming' wicks, oversized flames (which burn through your wax faster) and sooting.

  • Timings

Do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time.

Never burn a candle right to the end. Discontinue use when you have c. 2cm of wax left.

  • Be Safe

Never leave a burning candle unattended.

Keep it on a heat-safe, flat surface away from children, pets, curtains and flammable materials.
